The Story

The MaeJays are an acoustic husband-and-wife duo, with Meagan Kraeuter on vocals and tambourine, and Jason Kraeuter on guitar, bass, and percussion. With more than five decades of combined live performance, they bring polished musicianship, engaging stage presence, and an unforgettable entertainment experience.

Formed in Louisiana in 2009, The MaeJays spent years performing along the Gulf Coast—from casinos to weddings, corporate events to private celebrations. In 2021, they traded a Louisiana home for life on the road, cruising the country in an RV before planting roots in Palm Springs in October 2023.

Since arriving in the Coachella Valley, they've quickly become one of the area's most sought-after live acts, delivering 10–15 performances each month at premier venues, private events, and community celebrations. A true 100% live show, they rely on live looping to layer rich, full textures while preserving the intimacy and spontaneity of a duo.
